To perpetuate the sweet memory of it's patron, the Executive
Committee of the Delhi Library Association decided to institute a
Memorial Lecture Series in the name of Dr. SR Ranganathan. The
inaugural lecture in the series was delivered by Dr. M P Satija,
Professor of Library & Information Science, Guru Nanak Dev
University, Amritsar (Punjab) on 10th March 2003. The lecture
coincided with the 64th Foundation Day Function of the Delhi Library
